Rachael Shah is in her late twenties and lives in the City Centre where she has recently setup a resident’s association.
She is also a member of the Castlefield resident’s forum which actively works with local community groups such as neighbourhood officers, inland waterways and the Castlefield trust to maintain the local area for residents and businesses.
Rachael currently works for a high profile national charity in digital marketing and has previous experience working within the private sector.
She is passionate about tackling issues effected Manchester Central, including homelessness which exists in the shadows of newly built luxury apartment blocks.
Rachael personally benefitted from EU schemes such as the Erasmus programme and is opposed to a Brexit which prevents future generations from benefitting in ways which she did.
